Rameshwar Mahadev temple is an major temple in Valsad Gujarat. The village in which it is located is palsana of taluka Pardi. More than thousand people attend the mela. This festival is held continuosly for every year. This mela is held for more than 150 years. This year the ouspicious day Mahashivratri falls on 26 Feb 2025. This is the temple of shivji.
Each year thousand of people attends this mela ( fair ) making this a cultural event. This mela showcase traditional music, sports and heritage.

Here Mata sita and lord ram blessed the land. while traversing the forest near Palsana, mata Sita became thirsty and requested water from lord Ram. After searching for water near by with no water source. Lord Rama struck a Pipal tree with his arrow, causing the Ganga river to flow forth, allowing Sita to satisfy her thirst. This miraculous event led to the belief that Lord Shiva resides here as Rameshwar Mahadev, and the festival is also known as Ganga ji's Jatra.
